With this set you get everything you need for a fully equipped aerial yoga set-up (including instructions). Use the tying loops to tie the ends of the cloth. You hang the extensions on the ceiling hooks. You hang the hammock on the extensions with the carabiners. This way you can quickly adjust the height of your aerial yoga hammock. Perfect for all room heights up to 3.50 m.

Yoga hammock + 2x tie loops
This mini set is ideal for tying the hammock with the tie loops and hanging it directly on the ceiling hooks. Perfect if your ceilings are no higher than 2.70 m, and you have installed open ceiling hooks.

Only the yoga hammock
Perfect if you already have the accessories. Designed for those who already have an aerial yoga set-up and want a new color.

Please note that the ceiling hooks are not included in the delivery. Aerial Yoga Hammocks - FAQ

For beginners, particularly high-quality aerial yoga hammocks made of 100% nylon with a width of around 2.80 m are suitable. A special fabric elasticity is important: The hammock should be cross-elastic (slightly stretchable in width), but as non-stretch as possible in length. This allows it to adapt comfortably to the body, dig in less, and not give unnecessarily during overhead poses. This prevents the hammock from being stretched too far down under the load.

For children, high-quality standard-sized aerial yoga hammocks that are also suitable for adults are ideal. It is important to use tested materials, ensure safe and professional installation, and ensure age-appropriate use under adult supervision. Ideally, the first exercises should be performed under guidance.

Both are possible! Hanging it from a single hook allows the aerial yoga hammock to rotate freely 360 degrees. It also creates a particularly cozy, secure feeling inside the hammock, which is especially popular with children.

When hanging it from two hooks, the direction of the swing is determined. The hammock can still rotate, but in a much more controlled and less intense way. This setup is particularly well suited for classic aerial yoga exercises and versatile training options.

Our recommendation: Start with two hooks. This gives you the most versatile options and allows you to hang the hammock from a single hook at any time if needed.

In practice, a 4-meter fabric has proven to be the most effective and is ideal for the ceiling heights commonly found in Germany, which range from approximately 2.40 to 3.20 m. It provides enough fabric for a wide variety of aerial yoga exercises without having an unnecessary amount of fabric hanging down from the loops. The fabric is also easy to wash, store compactly, and take on vacation or to the gym or yoga studio. Even for higher ceilings, we recommend a 4-meter fabric in combination with suitable extensions, such as daisy chains. This allows the hanging height to be adjusted flexibly without having to use a tall ladder to adjust the fabric every time. This makes it particularly practical for everyday use.

You can find high-quality aerial yoga silks from specialist retailers such as Yogalaxy® and Yogaluft®. Look for tear-resistant, substance-tested material, high-quality workmanship, certified load capacity, and suitable mounting accessories. Shops whose owners also teach aerial yoga, such as Yogalaxy® and Yogaluft®, are particularly experienced.

A high-quality aerial yoga hammock costs on average around 110 to 150 euros in Germany. Complete sets including slings, carabiners and extension ropes usually cost between 140 and 250 euros. The price depends on the material, quality, size, width, length and included accessories.
